Private Charter Information
The cost of a two-hour private charter of the Lady of the Lake is $1500 plus tax. You can add an additional hour, dockside for $250 for each hour.
A partially refundable deposit of half of the charter cost (i.e., for a 2-hour charter the deposit would be $500) is required upon signing of a charter contract. Half of the deposit will be refunded upon receipt of a written notice of cancellation 30 days prior to the event.
The balance of the charter needs to be paid two weeks prior to the event.
Hosted bars need to be paid in full the day of the event.
We have no control over Mother Nature. If because of hazardous wind or weather conditions we are not able to cruise, your event will be held dockside for the cost of the deposit. Due to our busy schedule we do not do any "rain checks"
Our current capacity is approximately 150 people.
The lower level, which is enclosed, is handicap accessible. There is a stage on the lower level that can accommodate a small band or DJ as well as a small dance floor. We also have a sound system that may be used to play music - either that you provide for us to play or from our collection. We do have a DJ that works on the boat frequently. If you would like their contact information please let us know.
If you wish to decorate for your event, keep in mind that time may be limited - so keep things simple as we have limited time between cruises for set and take down. There are 14 tables on the lower level that are 24" x 42" and five octagon shaped picnic tables on the upper deck.
There is a bar on the lower level and we sell soft drinks, beer, wine and mixed drinks. You have the option of having a cash bar, purchase a keg, have a totally open bar, or if you want more control over the bar costs, give each of your guests a couple of drink tickets.
Our liquor license does not allow you to bring alcohol on board, but if you want something special such as champagne for a toast, we will be happy to try to accommodate your request. Keep in mind that we do have limited cooler space.
You may use a caterer of your choice. We have a list of area caterers who have expressed an interest in catering on the Lady of the Lake that we will provide upon request. There is an extra clean up charge of $50 when food is brought on board. It is your responsibility to remove any leftover food. The only beverages that we allow to be brought on board are punch for weddings and coffee for your catered meal.
